Photography Challenge: Day 1

My friend Leslie emailed me yesterday about a photography challenge she had seen on Pinterest. And out of my love for her, my camera, my mom for my beginning photography class, and out of my sheer love of Pinterest itself, I decided to hop on board. I am a little late in getting this first day's task complete, but I guess I kept thinking I would get showered and look nice for the camera seeing that Day 1 is "self-portrait." It didn't happen. After deciding we would attend my nephew's baseball game in Fayetteville tonight, I figured it would not be worth getting all dressed up today. So, I am still in workout clothes with my hair up out of my face, little make-up on, and these pictures have just been taken at the end of the day right after dinner. Oh well. This is me, and this is how I roll.

I thought it would be cute to stand next to this big picture of Reese and do the same face, but all of those pictures turned out ridiculous. I held out the camera while just looking at her from the side, and I thought it was much better. Maybe it's strange. Maybe it's cute. Whatever...I had fun looking at her for a few minutes while completing the task.
