The 9 Month Post

Here we are...Reese is NINE months old now. CRAZY. I feel like I've been blogging a ton lately, so I don't feel the need to fill you in on everything Reese is doing these days. However, I know that I want to print off these monthly updates, and I will want to know a lot of details at that time. Nine months is pretty spectacular. Reese is growing and changing on an almost daily basis, and she is absolutely my favorite girl in the world. Here are her stats:
*She weighs 18 lb. 2.5 oz. (the paper says 37.55%, but i thought i saw 49th percentile on the screen) Regardless, woah. I think her constant movement is definitely keeping her from holding on to her rolls and extra poundage. I guess she's already settling into taking after her mother and father. We are pretty small people.
*Reese is 27 1/4 inches long. (38.72%)
*And her head? Oh, it's not shy...45cm--78th percentile I think. :)
*Typical Day:
Somewhere in the 6:00 hour she wakes and plays and sometimes falls back asleep
7:00 nurse
8:30 nap
10:30 out of crib (she doesn't nap that long, but i keep her in there for 2 hours both naps)
11:00 nurse
1:00 nap
3:00 nurse
4:00 if we are home, this is independent play time
5:30/6:00 dinner
6:15 bath, nurse, bed
(the times are starting to get pushed back 15 or so minutes which I really like)
*Naps are sometimes awesome and sometimes not so awesome. I know that Reese doesn't need a TON of sleep every day, but I want her used to being in her crib for 2 hours for 2 naps a day. If she wakes up before nap time is over, she always sits and plays until I get her. And when I get her, it's THE BEST time of the day.
*Reese still sleeps in a sleep sack and LOVES it. She switches back and forth between a Halo one and an Aden and Anais one.
*Sweet girl is crawling all over the place. The day we got our carpet cleaned about 2 or 3 weeks ago, she really got going. Good timing.
*She is starting to learn "that's a no," but I have to say it a few times and then sometimes distract her with a toy or move her. She definitely knows when I say her name in the voice. She stops whatever she is doing, sits up, and looks my way.
*Sweetheart is enamored with Emmett now that she can crawl all over him. He just sits there and lets her mess with him.
*Reese is eating like a champ. Fruit and cereal in the morning. Fruit, veggies, and bread/cheese/turkey at lunch. Fruit, veggies, and some of whatever we are eating for dinner, if it's ready, at night.
*Oh, she waves on command. And it's so cute.
I think that's it on the monthly update. Aren't you so proud I am only posting ONE picture?
Happy NINE months (and 2 days) to my daughter. A nice man walked up to me at the Neighborhood Market today just to tell me that Reese was REALLY cute. I had to agree with him. Not only is Reese absolutely beautiful, but she is beginning to have the most precious personality. Still laid back, content, and happy, she's my girl. I love her way more than I ever imagined in a million years. Reesey Peesey, you have stolen my heart.

I can't believe it's been three quarters of a year! She is adorable. I'm so glad you posted her schedule so I can see what Emma should be working towards :)
