Ten (or eleven) on Ten

I read two blogs of people I don't know. Ashley from Under the Sycamore is perhaps my decorator icon. Vintage. Eclectic. I don't know how else to explain it, but I love it. Yesterday, she wrote about Ten on Ten, and I decided to give it a try. For ten hours in a row on the 10th day of the month, take a picture. I took it as take a picture of what is going on during that hour. That's what I did, and I had a lot of fun. Too bad this was one of those at home all day day's. No exciting outings or fun play dates for Reese. It was still a dance around the house, read lots of books, have a little Bible study, do a little cleaning kind of day, and I loved it. AND too bad my math was off. I took pictures from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. That would be ELEVEN hours. Oops. Here's a peek into eleven hours of March 10th in our sweet home...

8:00 hour: Emmett and Reese checking out the day's weather.

9:00 hour: Wes' bags packed for his road trip to Colorado tonight. His girls already miss him.

10:00 hour: R waking up from her sweet morning nap.

11:00 hour: Oops. Still in pajamas. Teeth were brushed, face was washed, and I got dressed during the next hour.

12:00 hour: Lunchtime. Sun dried tomato turkey breast, fresh mozzarella, and pesto grilled sandwich along with way too many baked cheetos (I was feeling sorry for myself because my lunch date got cancelled, and I would have consumed way more calories at Chick-Fil-A) and my pineapple orange juice spritzer.

1:00 hour: Checking the mail. Netflix movie. Tea Collection catalog. Bed Bath & Beyond ad. U of A credit card applications. And THE cutest one year old birthday party invitation EVER.

2:00 hour: The evidence of my fabulous visit from Sydney. Just came over to chat for a couple of hours. I loved it, and I think you should hop on the blogging train. :)

3:00 hour: Making some new treats for the road trippers. Brownie cookie sandwiches.

4:00 hour: Letting Reese's homemade green beans and sweet potatoes thaw. (Thanks, Amy.)

5:00 hour: The first cold of her life is on its way. See the nose crusties?

6:00 hour: And the day is coming to an end for the kid. She's in bed, and I'm eating dinner. Not so sure how this night will go, as I've already been in to help out sweet girl way more times than usual.

Cookies look delicious. I can't imagine much better than a cookie that's also a brownie.
And, by the way, my rule is that pants aren't officially pajamas unless they have a print on them, so that outfit is good to go for me.
