After my mom and dad left yesterday afternoon, Wes and I talked about what we could do for a birthday tradition. Nothing like coming up with something the day of, right? The weather cleared up for a bit, and we needed to get out, so we strapped Reese into her new Radio Flyer wagon (thanks, Mopsy and Popsy), loaded up all of her new friends, and hit the street. A family neighborhood walk, stroll, car ride, bike ride, etc. while sharing her birthday story aloud will be our tradition. I like it, and Year 1 was a hit. Enjoy our Birthday Stroll pictures.
Two other little neighbors share Reese's birthday, and we got to celebrate with 8 year old Ashley for a bit yesterday as she was trying out her new bike. Can you tell Reese is a little under the weather? Sweet girl is recovering this morning from a pretty yucky night.
