The Big Fall Catch Up

Let's do this in pictures. It's fun, easy, and fairly quick. I'm hoping to get a lot of it during during this icy nap time while Wes has ventured out to get a Christmas tree.

Here we go...

Fall started with a case of Hand, Foot, and Mouth for Graham. It was sad, but he got over it quickly and never passed it along to anyone else in this house.

Reese discovered Barbie dolls. My old ones brought up from Mopsy.

Totally in love with dance class. A sweet obsession.

Weekly family dates to Pressroom are still happening. I can taste my roast chicken salad and roast turkey sandwich right now. So SO good.

Wes is 31!!! He wanted my strawberry pie, and I gladly made him one because it just so happens to be a favorite of mine as well. YUM.

A Sunday evening stroll around downtown and stop to get ice cream. The little ice cream parlor downtown has this cute little booth for kids. So fun.

Lots of fun with friends...and they are always wearing princess dresses.

Maris. Rogers High School Homecoming Queen 2013.

Downtown Rogers pizza date with Bret and cousins.

Cute little Razorback fans. Poor hogs though. Not a great season. Not even a good one.

Ben is TEN!

A very typical day.

Must wear dresses every day.

Sweet boy falls asleep every Wednesday on our way home from Bible Study Fellowship. LOVING the study of Matthew.

Reese and Stella play date--it was Reese's birthday gift to Stella, and we painted, baked, danced, and giggled.

Dance class with Campbell.

Riding ponies at the Pumpkin Patch.

He was fine.

Realized I've been waiting to "finish" the kids' rooms before sharing pictures, but I decided to stop waiting.

My little boy at play time while my girl finishes her nap. A daily thing.

Wes and I went to Charleston, South Carolina for several days and absolutely LOVED our adventure and time away together.

Kappa Kappa Gamma house dedication day. The day after we got home.

Hanging at Daddy's office.

Street fest with Stella.

Trick-or-Treating at Kraft.

Side by side. 1987. 2013.

Reese's first Razorback game. Arkansas vs. Auburn

Just being cute.

Reese STILL asks for Abigail to come stay at our house. Most of our college besties came in for the Auburn game since two of them are a part of the football family, and we had such a fabulous time together that we didn't take one picture of us girls. Oh well.

And lucky us, Lily, Abigail, and Hunter stayed with us!

Watching TV together.

Muffins before MDO.

He's becoming a reader and lover of books, and I couldn't be more thrilled. He throws them at me if he wants me to read them. Working on a better method of communication there.

SQUEEZABLE.

See above comment.

One night, I felt like shrimp and grits, so we all got in the car and went to the store to get the ingredients, came home, and ate a delicious dinner after kids got in bed. This is near the end of the rather lengthy process.

Barnes and Noble is a great place to take kids. Graham is not falling here; he is just climbing down the step.

Lighting of the Square--Downtown Bentonville.

Post-nap movie snuggles.

A new favorite activity.

Thanksgiving in Conway

Great weather. Great family. Great food.

Mema and her 19 grandchildren. Too bad Graham had just crawled off. Oops. and Silas was asleep.

the Tommy Walkers with Mema.

BEST place to take kids in Conway. We went to Wilkinson's, and I did some great shopping while the kids just played and played and played.

Conway's newest attraction.

Mom and Dad's neighbor has a farm about 10 minutes away, so we went out to see the lambs and donkeys, and both kids were in awe.

What a treat and blessing to have Rooney (and her parents) as neighbors.

Starting to look like Christmas around here.

And we wrap this up with a picture from last night. Sleet is falling, snow is on its way, and we are planning to make Pioneer Woman's Cinnamon Rolls and a leftover turkey pot pie in the next day or two. I'm hoping Wes is almost back with that Christmas tree by now. It won't be three months before I do this blogging thing again.
