10 Months

My baby boy is 10 months old, and he just may be sweeter than honey. He's almost 22 pounds, he crawls everywhere, babbles "da-da" all the time with only an occasional "ma" or "ba", smiles constantly, tries to mimic "hi" when I say it to him, laughs at anyone, claps his hands, signs "more" at times, cuddles into my shoulder to pretend he's bashful and shy, nurses (or takes a bottle when needed) really well four times a day, and sleeps like a champ. 9-11 in the morning, 1-3 (or later) in the afternoon, and 7-7 (or just a little later) at night/morning. Seriously. Best baby ever. And this is also a pretty awesome stage, too. Now that he can move, he's happy and content more than ever. He can get what he wants, and he loves to explore. Gran says he reminds her of Wes both physically and temperament-wise, and I thank my lucky stars for that comment. I think we have a keeper.

I'm not all about making everything seem rosy when it's really not, but I really don't have anything else to say. Well, he eats like a man. I know he eats more than Reese, and he's messy. I don't love cleaning him up after meal time because food is everywhere. That's the negative in this stage, but I'll take it. Real life is good with this little guy. Oh, and those dimples. And gummy grin. So good.

I can't imagine life without Graham. He has brought so much joy and love into our lives and our little family. First birthday party plans are starting to take shape, and I'm pretty excited about a boy party. It will happen the day after Reese's 3rd birthday party, and it will be so much fun. In the meantime, I'm going to keep cuddling, loving, and enjoying my sweet TEN month old!!!
