One of my best friends said goodbye to her daddy today. This friend of mine has been in my life for over 10 years, and I could probably drive from my house to her house blindfolded. After witnessing the marriages of his two other children recently, her dad escorted her down the aisle at her wedding this past Saturday night. He fought an incredibly good fight, and God took him home this morning. We now not only pray for the new marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper, but we pray for healing, comfort, and peace for the entire family. I love you, Liz.

I agree with "mom"...beautiful words. I'm glad to hear that he made it to her wedding, but heart broken that the good bye was so soon.
