I joke that I wanted to get pregnant so I could get one of these bags...but some part of that seems legitimate. A co-worker at school has been making diaper bags for those she loves these past few years, and so it was my mission...get her to love me and get pregnant. The good thing is that her husband teaches history on my team, so it would have been kind of awkward if she didn't love me and feel the need to make me a bag once I got pregnant. I will say though that the first thing I said after I announced to my team that I was having a baby was..."This means I get a diaper bag!" I had lots of comments on this beautiful bag, but sadly you can't get one of your own just like it at a store. She uses Amy Butler fabrics, and it was so fun when I found out she was using one of the patterns from my crib bedding! I can't wait to put this to use in the fall. But....here's my response to all of those comments. I told her about the compliments, and we are all trying to convince her she needs to start selling them!! I'll let you know if it happens.

I love the lavender with the orange. Just lovely! I also love that you said you had to get her to love you and get pregnant. Hilarious!
You could have pulled a Glee and pretended you were pregnant just to get one, but I don't think Wes would have appreciated that.
Love your bag, Kate!
